General Accountant cum Accounts Receivable Team Leader

The Job Duties

  1. Accounts Receivable
    • Review and handle quotations and client agreements in coordination with the Operations team.
    • Manage sales contracts, contract ledger, and CRM data to ensure timely invoicing.
    • Record sales, receivables, and AR-related transactions in the accounting system.
    • Update and reconcile AR ledger and e-Form data on a weekly basis.
    • Monitor bank collections and reconcile bank statements with the accounting system daily.
    • Follow up with clients on outstanding receivables and prepare AR aging reports.
    • Conduct annual AR reconciliation and support audit processes.
    • Maintain and file AR documents in accordance with company procedures.
    • Close AR accounts before the 3rd day of the following month.
    • Safeguard the company’s cash box, keys, and passwords.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Finance & Accounting.
  1. General Accounting
    • Supervise, review, and adjust accounting entries and team members’ work to ensure compliance and timely completion.
    • Record general accounting transactions such as amortization, depreciation, accruals, payroll, transfers, and adjustments.
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure transactions comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
    • Finalize monthly closing and prepare financial statements and management reports before the 5th day of the following month.
    • Prepare quarterly consolidated reports for submission to the parent company.
    • Manage fixed assets, stock checking, and company property in coordination with relevant departments.
    • Review tax submissions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
    • Work with internal/external auditors and tax authorities during inspections and audits.
    • Maintain proper filing of general accounting documents.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Finance & Accounting.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting modules.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a General Accountant.
  • Team leadership experience is preferred
  • Professional Knowledge
    + Chief Accountant Certificate is preferred.
    + Good knowledge of tax law.
    + General understanding of business operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Good time management and task management skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Intermediate in English
